These natural advantages are combined with modern production methods and technology to produce top quality seed. Every Canadian seed potato is produced in accordance with the federal government’s Canadian Seed Potato Certification Program. This internationally-recognized program features strict tolerances; comprehensive testing by government and government-approved laboratories; and thorough field and shipping point inspections.
All seed originates from disease-free tissue culture. Our limited-generation flush-through system requires that all seed must advance at least one class annually until it is no longer eligible for certification. No Canadian seed potato is ever more than seven generations from disease-free tissue cultured material.
